Arctic Power is a part of the international Arctic Pro network

Arctic Pro Lapland project is aimed to promote and develop user-oriented clothing design and environmental testing in Lapland. Main goal of the project is to increase international coverage and knowledge of environmental testing and clothing design for Lapland Universities. Project started at January 2014. With the help of the increased expertise project produces studying material for both universities.

Behind the Arctic Pro Lapland project are Arctic Power from Lapland University of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Art and Design from University of Lapland.
Arctic Pro Lapland is a part of international Arctic Pro network which specializes in cold protective clothing. Network produces research information, commercial applications and offers product development support for cold protective clothing industry.

Arctic Pro network organizes road shows, network forums and is strongly present at the events of cold protective clothing industry. Network includes VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Institute of Occupational Health, Arctic Power from Lapland University of Applied Sciences, University of Lapland, Tampere University of Technology and the Federation of Finnish Textile and Clothing Industries Finatex from Finland. From Sweden involved are University of Lund, SWEREA, TEKO and University of Borås. SINTEF and Norsk Industry from Norway also belong to the network.
